Mother!  You’re alive. Glad to hear that all is well. You had me worried with no email last week. Technology gets the best of us sometimes... I understand.  Shoes- If you have the exact same shoes (hush puppies) size eleven would be better but honestly it doesn’t matter.  I will make them work. My feet are all callused up so I will be just fine. Maybe you could send some brown sugar and chocolate chips with Bishop too. I need it for cookies. And maybe some high lighters as well.  Mine don’t work anymore.  That’s about all that I could think of. Thanks for sending the peanut butter. Can’t wait to manage it.
I sent Bishop an email with an answer to his questions and other stuff. Not to worry. And yes you can come to Paris and pick me up. Many parents do it.  That is not a problem at all. President is cool with it.  Save up your money!  Like lotssssss of money. It ain’t cheap going on vacation here in France... easily the most expensive place in the world haha.  Last week I went to McDonalds to get some chicken nuggets... only 4 of them... with a tiny little drink and tiny fry... and it cost 8 dollars!  Imagine what it will cost to ride a train or a rent a hotel room.  Stuff isn’t cheap!   Save uppppp.

Oh yeah in two weeks I will get to see your beautifully smiling faces on skype. That will be neat. I think I could easily be transferred next transfer but that doesn’t happen until the 15th so no worries there.  I will still be here in St Brieuc.  We will have the news the 11th of what is happening though so I will be able to let you know in person.  We have a couple of members here who have skype I believe. I will have to let you know next week.  And yessss its pretty crazzzy to think I have almost been out for one year.  Don’t remind me please.  Time flies by way to fast.  Kinda scary.  Hopefully it starts to slow down a little.

That’s cool that Garrett is back to work in North Carolina.  He will probably be knocking on doors just like me ehh?   My reasons way better though.   Sorry I’m not sorry haha.  I’m sure he will make bank again though.   That’s always a good time.  Make sure he sends me a little of it.  I could find plenty of things to spend it on.

This last week has been crazy.  Elder Davis had to do his legality in Belgium so I shipped him off by train and I stayed in Rennes with the zone leaders for a couple days.  It was a good time.  I learned so much.  My zone leaders are a couple of studs.  Elder Neilson has been my zone leader for 5 of my 7 transfers.  He follows me everywhere.  But that’s okay.  He has taught me so much. The Lord has definitely blessed me with good leaders.  The work is really progressing here in Bretagne. I am stoked to be apart of it.  So many other good things happened this week.  Where to start?   Our ami Joelle wants to be baptized!  She’s not sure when but she is sure she wants to be baptized.  We were teaching a lesson with a member on Wednesday and the member testified that she knew the first time she met the missionaries she knew what they had came from God and she needed it.  Joelle testified to us a couple of days later of the same thing!  She said that she knows that everything we have taught her is the truth.  She has completely stopped drinking tea and coffee!  She has read the Book of Mormon almost everyday for three months!   She has been to church for three months without missing!  She hasn’t missed a Relief Society activity once and she watched all of conference!  She has only known the church for 4 months and it has completely changed her life.  She is the most amazing lady I have ever met.  Most 70 year old people are pretty stuck in there ways in life..... but not when the gospel enters into there heart.  Funny story. I have learned that what we do when we are bored really tells what kind of person we are (think about it)... Joelle got bored last week because it was to cold to go outside to go on a walk... so she decided to read all of 3rd  Nephi!   She said it was way awesome. Pretty good thing to do when you’re bored ehh.  Soo when your bored yall... read the scrips!  Don’t do stupid things (stupid things happen when peepz get bored).

I could go on for days about all the things that have been happening but I need to get going. I got a quick question... Do you see the difficulties in every opportunity or opportunities in every difficulty? Think about it.  Difficulties rock.  Rock them!   Have a good week.  Grossss bisous!  Bon semaine!

Hellllo.  Sounds like life is the best mother. Your emails just keep getting better and better. Thanks for that. You had some good questions this week haha.  Don’t worry, all of the ladies have forgotten about me.  But that’s okay, I have forgotten about them as well.  Life is too good to worry about them, that struggle can wait some years haha.  Yup . At the beginning of the mish I found it really easy to write people back quickly, but as time has gone by I much prefer to sleep and play ping pong on P days now haha.  Peepz can email me though... that’s a lot easier.  About time I got my priorities straight ehh. And yes there are quite a few really cool land marks and stuff here but most of them are just a little outside of ST BRIEUC and we don’t leave here unless we have to. And on P-day we can’t use the car so its hard to do a whole lot. Our little legs can only carry us so far ya feelz.  That’s awesome that you got to listen to the temple session in a little bit of French haha. That will be cool to do after the mish. Speaking of French... yesterday I got to translate at church like always but this time I had to translate English into French from the pulpit!  I really surprised myself.  Not trying to build myself up... but hawt dang I can speak French. The gift of tongues is real yall!  If a goofy looking big bigheadedastronaut can learn French... anything is possible. ANYTHING.

This last week was easily one of the best. We had so many good things happen. Yesterday we had 2 amis at church. Joelle was there like always (love her to death) and we finally got Jean Pierre to come! (lives 30 minutes away)  He LOVED it. Just like we knew he would. He felt the spirit crazzzy strong... so strong that he even got up in Sacrament meeting and bore his testimony!  It was his first Sunday ever and he was already bearing his testimony.  He got up there with the Book of Mormon in his hand and testified of its truthfulness!  Oh la la.  He told a story about how one night he was getting ready for bed but something told him to open that book those silly Americans gave him. So he did! He turned to Moroni 7 and found verse after verse that spoke directly to him.  Maybe the most powerful moment of my mission.  The Lord has given me a million reasons/experiences to know why he has sent me here to France... but none stronger then this one!  I testify just like my friend Jean Pierre did. The Book of Mormon is true.  Its there to bless us... so let it!  But that won’t happen unless you decide to open it and ponder it. Before the mission I regrettably studied that thing for about a total of 30 minutes I think (all 18 years combined). Mistake.  Don’t wait 18 years to study the thing yall.  Do it now.   Do it everyday.  Do it as a family.  Do it personally. Do it when you’ve had a bad day. Do it when you’ve had a good day!  JUST DO IT!  Do it so God can bless you. He wants to!  Why not let him?  Why!

The mission is the best thing that has ever happened to my life. And I am reminded of it every single day. The tough ones and easy ones.  Life could not be better. I am so grateful to a father, brother, and brothers-in-laws who have set an example of faithful missionary work and the effect it can have on a person and on their family.  Missionary work rocks!  Don’t forget it peeps.  If you’re thinking about serving a mission. Don’t think. JUST DO IT.

Love yall. Bises.

PS - I need some of those brown sugar bags! I can’t make cookies without it. And chocolate chips. And wee need some peanut butter too please. I have eaten all of Elder Davis’ so maybe you could send two? haha.  And yes I bought some new shoes. They are super nice but I’m not sure how long they are going to last. I want to switch them off with my other pair everyday but my other pair is completely destroyed.  Like there are holes everywhere in them.  What shall I do? I can’t afford to buy another pair?  I”m not sure if you think it would be a good idea to buy another pair of those Hush Puppy ones from CTR clothing?  They lasted a long time. I think if I had those with this pair I got now that would last for all of my mission.  Let me know what you think.  I don’t know!  If you got time we could use those lil goodies I mentioned at the beginning of next week. Our amis need some cookies. Love you.

Mother... you’re getting real old haha. Pretty weird that you’re over halfway to a hundred!  Just kidding you didn’t deserve that. Pretend that didn’t happen.  Glad you got the little card.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  You’re the best. Thanks for that.  You’re the best mother and teacher ever.  Don’t let anyone tell you different... especially those stupid high school punks ;)  Sounds like you had a good time in Utah.  You should probably just move there.  Might save you a little money instead of going back and forth all the time.  Glad to hear dad is still hooking you up with flowers. But lets be real... my present was better? Jk.  But for reals.

General conference was off the chain ehh.  So much to learn in such a short amount of time. So many good talks.  I especially loved the talks on missionary work by the Prophet, Elder Andersen, and Nelson. kinda relevant ehh.  Ill be real though... I listened to them in French so I didn’t get everything out of them like I should’ve  (can’t wait to read them)  haha mais nĂ©anmoins j'ai appris les choses.  Oh and we had 4 amis come and listen to general conference!  That was pretty neat.   Friday night here at the church it was just me and Elder Davis with our two amis sitting in front of a big screen watching conference on the other side of the world!  Doesn’t get any better then that.  Oh wait it does.  One of our amis went and picked up our other ami becasue he had no other way to get to church!  So yes... we had an investigator bring an investigator to church not knowing each other at all!   Can’t say I have ever seen that one yet.  Life is the best. Oh yeah and on Sunday for the first time ever here in St Brieuc we had general conference at the church. Thanks to the wonderful missionaries haha we talked them into it.  We had a big lunch at 1 and then watched the 2 o’clock session together.  There were a total of about 20 members and 2 investigators. Quite a few for only having 25 members!  And they loved it.  Pretty sure they will do it again next time. That was neat. Oh yeah and my head may or may not have gotten a little bit bigger yesterday (I mean  mentally not physically people.. I know I have a huge head... laugh it off). So last week I gave a legit lesson at district meeting about riding THE   I straight up gave everyone a legit picture of a wave and everything (with some scriptures). And then Elder Nelson straight stole my talk!  Hopefully you heard his talk on the missionary wave.  Pretty sure it was the same talk I gave haha. Love when that happens. Glad to know my revelation channel is working very nicely ;)
WAVE.

Sorry if this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I don’t have time to look back over it and I cant type anyway so ya. Have a good week. Bon semaine!

Conference quote of the year- "Journey on. Fan the flame of your faith!" (Holland) Do it yall!
