Email May 6, 2013

Hello. I will just start by saying that this was easily the best week of my mission and of my life. I have probably said that before but this time I really mean it! You’re probably thinking it was the best because I saw Bishop and Kenna... true... but no... that was just the icing on the cake. We could not do anything wrong this week!  The lord was literally changing peoples hearts right before our eyes!  L'esprit était partout!   Okay, okay I will stop. I will answer your questions first and then I will go hard with the spiritual stuff.

The shoes fit perfectly. Thank you! The peanut butter has changed our life. Thank you! And yes I could’ve chose anywhere in France to eat but KFC sounded so good!!!   I pass it everyday in our car and it always  Oh and don’t worry about sending peanut butter anymore. I saw that that was a little expensive (aka a lot). But thanks anyways! The watches are super legit as well. Thanks pops! I will bring the swagg with those things for sure. Sounds like y’all had a grand time in Utah again. I’m pretty sure you live there.  The last three months you guys have emailed me from Utah I feel like more than Fallon.  Buy a house there?   That’s cool that Garrett found himself a girl. About time. I hope they’re married before I come back.#OnlySingleAdamsME I want to be the only single stud in the family.  Send me a picture of her (facebook creep or whatever it takes). I have to approve before he goes makin some stupid decision ya know?   Hooke me up with a photo next week please.   Can’t wait to here from you on Sunday! That will be neat. I’m still not 100 percent what is going to happen. We have some options. I am pretty sure we will skype. That would be the funniest.  Send me Garrett’s code and stuff again so I can log into his name. That would be best. We will call here around three in the afternoon or would you like us to do it later?   You let me know. We can probably do it any time after Noon here in France (anytime between twelve and nine). I will probably not call you on Saturday but I will email you and let you know what’s going down.   Keep an eye on your emails.   Let me know what time works best for you.  And they just changed transfer emails to a day later so I will not be able to tell you where I am going or if I am staying until Monday emails. Bummer!
makes my mouth water... so I figured we would just go eat it real quick so I could get that fantasy out of my head. And yes it wasssss sooo goood. Way better here then in America.

This week was one I will never forget. The spirit was with me and my companion in all that we did.  His presence was so obvious!  Even a blind man could’ve seen it. Everything we did the spirit testified to us was right and that’s where we needed to be. I have never seen so many miracles in my little life.  I will share but one....

We had a new lady from Canada move into the ward three weeks ago. She is so outgoing and she very easily opens her mouth and shares the gospel with others!  And that’s exactly what she has done.  This week she invited us to her house... along with 6 other people that she has just recently met (not members) to have dinner. The first hour we all got to know each other and just talked about random things. They all brought wine to the dinner so about an hour into the dinner they all started acting pretty weird (a little drunk, but not too bad).  They were very rowdy... It’s safe to say the spirit wasn’t present. Once in a while they would even poke a little fun at Mormons.  We thought the dinner was going to be a complete waste.  Well our hour and half (our time limit) was about up and we knew we needed to get going so amidst  all the craziness we asked if we could share a quick spiritual thought. They accepted. They wished they hadn’t!  So we stood up and shared Helaman 5:12.  At this point all eyes are on us and no one is saying a word.  After we read we quickly testified of Jesus Christ  and what he has done for ALL of us. We testified of what building our foundation upon him can do. The spirit completely took over the little house.  The atmosphere completely changed (I have never seen an atmosphere change soooo quickly). It’s something that I really can’t even explain.  The thought was seriously no longer then 2 minutes!  It’s kind of a  "you had to be there" experience.   I have never felt the spirit so strong.   So the story goes on.   Just as we were leaving one of the ladies sneakily followed us out and told us that she wants us to come over to her house and share the gospel (didn’t see that one coming).  We gladly accepted, but as soon as she said that she quickly slipped back into the house without letting everyone else know she was talking to us.  We didn’t even have time to get her number and address!  So the whole drive home we were talking about how crazy strong the spirit just was and we hope something will come of what just happened.  SOOOO. Joe, the member called us the next day and explained that after we had left they talked nonstop about the gospel and about the missionaries.  Well, to make a long story short.... they all want to see us again.  ALL 6!   Not just a couple but all of them. And Sunday morning (two days later) we received a call from one of the couples who were there wanting us to come to their house. We are going there today!  Oh and the husband of the couple we are going to see today was one of the highest generals in the England army.  He was the one that was making fun of Mormons and Utah during the RDV.  When we shared our spiritual thought... it was him that got punched in the face with the spirit! I remember the look in his eyes.  I’m pumped for today to see him again!

Well that is just one of the overwhelming amount of miracles the Lord has been blessing us with. Thanks for your prayers and your support. I promise you I am working my hardest to answer all of them!   Church is true.  Every ounce of it.  Don’t forget it.  I testify Christ lives and he stands at the head of his church. He is willingly, wantingly, and ready to help each and everyone of us if we but keep his commandments and follow his example!  The gospel is sooooooo simple.  Don’t make it harder then it should be y’all.  I know God sent me to France for a reason.  To testify of Christ and to change all who will listen.  I’m the luckiest kid alive. Thank you for all who have helped to prepare me for this time in my life!   #ForeverGrateful.  Have a good week. Bon semaine.

Mother!  You’re alive. Glad to hear that all is well. You had me worried with no email last week. Technology gets the best of us sometimes... I understand.  Shoes- If you have the exact same shoes (hush puppies) size eleven would be better but honestly it doesn’t matter.  I will make them work. My feet are all callused up so I will be just fine. Maybe you could send some brown sugar and chocolate chips with Bishop too. I need it for cookies. And maybe some high lighters as well.  Mine don’t work anymore.  That’s about all that I could think of. Thanks for sending the peanut butter. Can’t wait to manage it.
I sent Bishop an email with an answer to his questions and other stuff. Not to worry. And yes you can come to Paris and pick me up. Many parents do it.  That is not a problem at all. President is cool with it.  Save up your money!  Like lotssssss of money. It ain’t cheap going on vacation here in France... easily the most expensive place in the world haha.  Last week I went to McDonalds to get some chicken nuggets... only 4 of them... with a tiny little drink and tiny fry... and it cost 8 dollars!  Imagine what it will cost to ride a train or a rent a hotel room.  Stuff isn’t cheap!   Save uppppp.

Oh yeah in two weeks I will get to see your beautifully smiling faces on skype. That will be neat. I think I could easily be transferred next transfer but that doesn’t happen until the 15th so no worries there.  I will still be here in St Brieuc.  We will have the news the 11th of what is happening though so I will be able to let you know in person.  We have a couple of members here who have skype I believe. I will have to let you know next week.  And yessss its pretty crazzzy to think I have almost been out for one year.  Don’t remind me please.  Time flies by way to fast.  Kinda scary.  Hopefully it starts to slow down a little.

That’s cool that Garrett is back to work in North Carolina.  He will probably be knocking on doors just like me ehh?   My reasons way better though.   Sorry I’m not sorry haha.  I’m sure he will make bank again though.   That’s always a good time.  Make sure he sends me a little of it.  I could find plenty of things to spend it on.

This last week has been crazy.  Elder Davis had to do his legality in Belgium so I shipped him off by train and I stayed in Rennes with the zone leaders for a couple days.  It was a good time.  I learned so much.  My zone leaders are a couple of studs.  Elder Neilson has been my zone leader for 5 of my 7 transfers.  He follows me everywhere.  But that’s okay.  He has taught me so much. The Lord has definitely blessed me with good leaders.  The work is really progressing here in Bretagne. I am stoked to be apart of it.  So many other good things happened this week.  Where to start?   Our ami Joelle wants to be baptized!  She’s not sure when but she is sure she wants to be baptized.  We were teaching a lesson with a member on Wednesday and the member testified that she knew the first time she met the missionaries she knew what they had came from God and she needed it.  Joelle testified to us a couple of days later of the same thing!  She said that she knows that everything we have taught her is the truth.  She has completely stopped drinking tea and coffee!  She has read the Book of Mormon almost everyday for three months!   She has been to church for three months without missing!  She hasn’t missed a Relief Society activity once and she watched all of conference!  She has only known the church for 4 months and it has completely changed her life.  She is the most amazing lady I have ever met.  Most 70 year old people are pretty stuck in there ways in life..... but not when the gospel enters into there heart.  Funny story. I have learned that what we do when we are bored really tells what kind of person we are (think about it)... Joelle got bored last week because it was to cold to go outside to go on a walk... so she decided to read all of 3rd  Nephi!   She said it was way awesome. Pretty good thing to do when you’re bored ehh.  Soo when your bored yall... read the scrips!  Don’t do stupid things (stupid things happen when peepz get bored).

I could go on for days about all the things that have been happening but I need to get going. I got a quick question... Do you see the difficulties in every opportunity or opportunities in every difficulty? Think about it.  Difficulties rock.  Rock them!   Have a good week.  Grossss bisous!  Bon semaine!

Hellllo.  Sounds like life is the best mother. Your emails just keep getting better and better. Thanks for that. You had some good questions this week haha.  Don’t worry, all of the ladies have forgotten about me.  But that’s okay, I have forgotten about them as well.  Life is too good to worry about them, that struggle can wait some years haha.  Yup . At the beginning of the mish I found it really easy to write people back quickly, but as time has gone by I much prefer to sleep and play ping pong on P days now haha.  Peepz can email me though... that’s a lot easier.  About time I got my priorities straight ehh. And yes there are quite a few really cool land marks and stuff here but most of them are just a little outside of ST BRIEUC and we don’t leave here unless we have to. And on P-day we can’t use the car so its hard to do a whole lot. Our little legs can only carry us so far ya feelz.  That’s awesome that you got to listen to the temple session in a little bit of French haha. That will be cool to do after the mish. Speaking of French... yesterday I got to translate at church like always but this time I had to translate English into French from the pulpit!  I really surprised myself.  Not trying to build myself up... but hawt dang I can speak French. The gift of tongues is real yall!  If a goofy looking big bigheadedastronaut can learn French... anything is possible. ANYTHING.

This last week was easily one of the best. We had so many good things happen. Yesterday we had 2 amis at church. Joelle was there like always (love her to death) and we finally got Jean Pierre to come! (lives 30 minutes away)  He LOVED it. Just like we knew he would. He felt the spirit crazzzy strong... so strong that he even got up in Sacrament meeting and bore his testimony!  It was his first Sunday ever and he was already bearing his testimony.  He got up there with the Book of Mormon in his hand and testified of its truthfulness!  Oh la la.  He told a story about how one night he was getting ready for bed but something told him to open that book those silly Americans gave him. So he did! He turned to Moroni 7 and found verse after verse that spoke directly to him.  Maybe the most powerful moment of my mission.  The Lord has given me a million reasons/experiences to know why he has sent me here to France... but none stronger then this one!  I testify just like my friend Jean Pierre did. The Book of Mormon is true.  Its there to bless us... so let it!  But that won’t happen unless you decide to open it and ponder it. Before the mission I regrettably studied that thing for about a total of 30 minutes I think (all 18 years combined). Mistake.  Don’t wait 18 years to study the thing yall.  Do it now.   Do it everyday.  Do it as a family.  Do it personally. Do it when you’ve had a bad day. Do it when you’ve had a good day!  JUST DO IT!  Do it so God can bless you. He wants to!  Why not let him?  Why!

The mission is the best thing that has ever happened to my life. And I am reminded of it every single day. The tough ones and easy ones.  Life could not be better. I am so grateful to a father, brother, and brothers-in-laws who have set an example of faithful missionary work and the effect it can have on a person and on their family.  Missionary work rocks!  Don’t forget it peeps.  If you’re thinking about serving a mission. Don’t think. JUST DO IT.

Love yall. Bises.

Adamz

PS - I need some of those brown sugar bags! I can’t make cookies without it. And chocolate chips. And wee need some peanut butter too please. I have eaten all of Elder Davis’ so maybe you could send two? haha.  And yes I bought some new shoes. They are super nice but I’m not sure how long they are going to last. I want to switch them off with my other pair everyday but my other pair is completely destroyed.  Like there are holes everywhere in them.  What shall I do? I can’t afford to buy another pair?  I”m not sure if you think it would be a good idea to buy another pair of those Hush Puppy ones from CTR clothing?  They lasted a long time. I think if I had those with this pair I got now that would last for all of my mission.  Let me know what you think.  I don’t know!  If you got time we could use those lil goodies I mentioned at the beginning of next week. Our amis need some cookies. Love you.

Mother... you’re getting real old haha. Pretty weird that you’re over halfway to a hundred!  Just kidding you didn’t deserve that. Pretend that didn’t happen.  Glad you got the little card.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  You’re the best. Thanks for that.  You’re the best mother and teacher ever.  Don’t let anyone tell you different... especially those stupid high school punks ;)  Sounds like you had a good time in Utah.  You should probably just move there.  Might save you a little money instead of going back and forth all the time.  Glad to hear dad is still hooking you up with flowers. But lets be real... my present was better? Jk.  But for reals.

General conference was off the chain ehh.  So much to learn in such a short amount of time. So many good talks.  I especially loved the talks on missionary work by the Prophet, Elder Andersen, and Nelson. kinda relevant ehh.  Ill be real though... I listened to them in French so I didn’t get everything out of them like I should’ve  (can’t wait to read them)  haha mais néanmoins j'ai appris les choses.  Oh and we had 4 amis come and listen to general conference!  That was pretty neat.   Friday night here at the church it was just me and Elder Davis with our two amis sitting in front of a big screen watching conference on the other side of the world!  Doesn’t get any better then that.  Oh wait it does.  One of our amis went and picked up our other ami becasue he had no other way to get to church!  So yes... we had an investigator bring an investigator to church not knowing each other at all!   Can’t say I have ever seen that one yet.  Life is the best. Oh yeah and on Sunday for the first time ever here in St Brieuc we had general conference at the church. Thanks to the wonderful missionaries haha we talked them into it.  We had a big lunch at 1 and then watched the 2 o’clock session together.  There were a total of about 20 members and 2 investigators. Quite a few for only having 25 members!  And they loved it.  Pretty sure they will do it again next time. That was neat. Oh yeah and my head may or may not have gotten a little bit bigger yesterday (I mean  mentally not physically people.. I know I have a huge head... laugh it off). So last week I gave a legit lesson at district meeting about riding THE   I straight up gave everyone a legit picture of a wave and everything (with some scriptures). And then Elder Nelson straight stole my talk!  Hopefully you heard his talk on the missionary wave.  Pretty sure it was the same talk I gave haha. Love when that happens. Glad to know my revelation channel is working very nicely ;)
WAVE.

Sorry if this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I don’t have time to look back over it and I cant type anyway so ya. Have a good week. Bon semaine!

Conference quote of the year- "Journey on. Fan the flame of your faith!" (Holland) Do it yall!

Joyeux Paques!!

Hope ya’ll had a good time. Easter Sunday is always the best. Glad you were able to hear a couple of awesome talks... We had two solid talks yesterday as well. I am the translator so normally I don’t get a whole lot out of the talks except for the fact that translating is very hard haha.  But this time I actually learned. Yesterday the Lord was watchin over me!  I was understanding everything perfectly in French and I was able to translate it very well into English for our members. Real neat experience. And we had three investigators there!  A new lady we have just recently found came with her son. It was the first Christian church she has ever been too (she comes from a Muslim family).   It was so fun to see the big smile on her face and her sons as well.  You could literally see the spirit doing work within her and her son.  It was something to see.  They both came into the church at 9... wondering why they were there... and how a couple of weird Americans convinced them they should stay all the way till 12 o'clock  ("three hours of church! thats a long time.")  After church they didn’t want to go home!   #ToldYa.  Her son asked if they could come back on Monday and Tuesday and... haha.   We took advantage of that of course... we explained that church activities are normally just Sunday but we would love to have a family home evening with you tomorrow.   They gladly accepted haha.   Pretty excited.   It’s amazing what this gospel does to peoples lives. Pretty excited to teach them.

This last transfer was amazing.  I have never learned so much in such a short amount of time. This last transfer I have really been stressing the little things. It’s the little things in life that give us direction. When we let go of the thought that we have to do huge things to see huge things we will succeed.  I’m not saying that we shouldn’t go big because if we don’t go big... we should just go home.  But it’s when we do the little things that big things happen!   It’s all through out the scriptures ya’ll. I remember at the beginning of my mission thinking that I had to do everything soo BIGGG.  Lots of lessons.  Lots of new amis.  Those are some good desires but those two things won’t happen unless you do the little things.  If you want to go big... you really got to go small!   Maybe ya’ll already knew that and its just a mind blowing thing to me haha.   It can really relate to everything in life.   If you want to be a doctor... you can’t just go BIG in one year and finish all  of your schooling.  It takes 8 years of learning a gazillion little/small things.  And after all those hard years... you get a BIG pay check!   #BOOM.   If you want to be in the NBA you cant just magically show up there one day.  You need to practice. You should probably play in High School.  And then play a little college ball.  And get jacked.   And shoot free throws.   And have good form... and... i could go on for days.   Do the little things.  Its when we see the little things in life that life becomes so much better.. so much bigger.  Think about it ya’ll.   If you want to see some miracles in your  life... do the little things.   Do the little things and see BIG miracles.   Life really is simple ehh?    Go Small or go HOME ya’ll!

Oh and transfer news... I’ll be staying here with Elder Davis.  I actually get to stay in a ville for more than two transfers.  La vie est belle.  And I’m still a district leader.   Pretty pumped for this transfer. Miracles are out there waiting for us.   Have a good week.  Stay small YA’LL!

Mother. That was a solid email!   Merci beaucoup.  Sounds like life has been swell for ya’ll.  Ya deserve it!   I forgot all about March Madness.  You know you’re on a mission when you forget about the best sporting event in the world.  But that’s okay.   Missions rock.   That’s funny that you brought up golf because... I’m going today!   I’m pretty excited.   Its super cold but I don’t argue when a member offers to take us.  I’m pumped.  Most P days we just sleep and write letters.  This p-day we actually get to do something with our lives!   Should be a good time.  Hopefully I haven’t lost the golfing swag.   I’m afraid imma wiff but that’s alright... it will be fun néanmoins.   That’s awesome that you had lots of people qualify for HOSA nationals.  Should be a good time.  It’s crazy to think that it is already time for nationals again.  Last time that happened I was in the MTC.  Its sooooo crazy how fast time flies.  Life is weird.  Growing up is the worst. I don’t want the end to come!   Life is way toooo goood right now. #ForeverFrench

Oh yeah and to answer your questions yes we can email friends and whatnot. Not sure what the church leaders were thinkin there haha.   Just kidding.   Kinda.  Not really. All of the missionaries have been talking about it. Now they can all email there cute little girlfriends.   #NotGood.  I’m gonna have to give the prophet a quick call.  Just kidding.  I think.

This last week was out of controllll!  I have never felt the spirit so and for so long. This week was the big conference we have been planning for with Elder Richards of the Seventy.  He is a powerful man! He knows his stuff and he knows it well.  He talked for five hours non stop!  I don’t know about you but a five hour talk in uncomfortable wood chairs does not sound like the funnest thing in the world. BUT IT WAS.  Normally I can’t sit still for over an hour and stay completely in tune with the speaker but the spirit was way too strong to be taking a nap.  I think I took a total of 14 pages of notes.  Everything the man said was for me!   The Lord was speaking to me!   I had so many questions answered that no one even knew I had... accept the Lord!   It was a meeting I will never forget. Words would come out of his mouth and my pen would write something similar on the paper but they weren’t his exact words. #SpiritualNotes.   After the conference we had a 4 hour train ride back home.  After reading some letters and the new church magazine I decided to read the notes I had taken again. Some of the things I had written were nothing that Brother Richards had said but rather the things that the spirit told me to write! I didn’t realize it at the time.  Not sure if any of that made sense haha but it was a crazy experience.  God knows me.  He knows you.  Not sure how he does it.  But he does... because he loves you!   Don’t forget it.

And then on Sunday we had Stake Conference.  It was another spiritual punch to the face . #FeltSoGoodTho.  President Poznanski and his wife gave some super legit talks. That man is a beast of a Mission President. He is amazinggg.  Pretty sure I got the best Prez in the world. #EveryOneSaysThatButItsTrue.  Whenever he talks everyone is all ears.  Obviously all the Elders were glued to what he was saying but it was not just us.  He really knows how to control a crowd.  He is an amazing teacher.  He teaches straight doctrine and then he shows and shares personal experiences on how to put these doctrines into practice.  And after his talk we got to hear from Elder Donaldson of the seventy.  Two Seventies in one week!  Not bad eh?   The second he stepped up to speak the spirit swept over everyone.   You could literally see it.   It was nuts.   He gave an awesome talk on how God knows the beginning from the end.  He knows why we are where we are and why we are doing what we are doing.  We all have a purpose.  He talked about how it wasn’t just by chance that the North Star wasn’t just placed over Bethlehem.   It was there because God knows the orbit of the earth and that one little star was meant to be there way before it was actually there.  It’s like this with so many other things in our life.  God knows our "orbit" in life.  He has plans for each one of us.  It’s up to us to discover what these plans are.  God gave us prayer, family, scriptures, and church service opportunities for a reason. These things aren’t by chance.  They are all apart of our orbit!!!   I’m so thankful for the opportunity to find gods lost sheep who need to be put back in their "orbit!"  And often members of the church are lost in their orbit.  Ask yourself this question... "Are you where you should be in your orbit?"   Think about it!   Have a good week!   Stay in your orbit ya’ll. Shoot for the stars.   Go big or go home.   Do the little things.   Big things will follow.  Promise ya!

I’m glad you saw everything about the huge snow storm!  Now you know I’m not just a little girl haha. It was pretty gnarly.  Trains were canceled, power was out some places, conference was canceled, and people even died!   It was seriously a blizzard like nonstop.   It snowed for like 30 straight hours.  Just the day before it was like 60 degrees.   Then it got real ugly... real fast.   It was like there was a cloud above us and it never moved.   We had lots of lessons planned but sadly they all got canceled because people freak out when it snows here.  They think that if a snow flake hits them they are going to die.  It’s pretty funny.  Snow is not the best thing for the work but I’m not gonna lie... I love it.  Snow just makes me happy.  Something about it just fascinates me haha.  We were like the only ones outside for the two days of snow so it made for having a little fun.   But of course not too much fun! (that’s against the rules ehh).  I was able to slide down a huge hill on the way to a lesson though.  Thats was neat. #MissionMemories.  Elder Davis wasn’t a huge fan of the snow (doesn’t really snow where he lives) but that’s okay.  I still love him anyway.  Oh yeah and I almost froze my little tootsies off.  My shoes have got holes in the bottom so that was a lil sketchy haha.  I’m gonna need to buy a new pair today for sure. The homeless look really isn’t the best... especially because we have conference this week with a member of the 70.  I gots to be lookin Fresh!  Bien Sur.

Sounds like you all had a real good time in Utah. That’s good. I bet Whitney’s loving life right now eh? Babies are the best.   #Jealous.  That’s the worst missionary rule ever... (rule 42b- "no holding infants or young children.")   I’m guessing for most missionaries that is pretty easy but not for Elder A.  It kills me haha.  We have these three cute little English girls in our ward here and they always try to sit on my lap. But I cant do it!   C'est la vie.  Enough of that nonsense.

This week was a little crazy with the huge snow storm and conference being canceled but of course we made the best of our situation.  We had a week full of so many little miracles.  "Do your best, and the Lord will do the rest."   So true.   Life won’t always be smooth but we can even out the bumps with a good attitude and faith in the Lord.  We had very little lessons planned this week after the snow storm destroyed everything but we still managed 10 lessons.  Pretty high for here.  Our amis are really progressing right now.  J is so amazing.  Not sure if I have really told you about her. She is the most amazing person that ever lived.   She has been to church five weeks in a row now and she has been to two société de secours (relief society) meeting.  She is the first one to church and the last one to leave!

She religiously reads the Book of Mormon.  She has that thing marked up like crazy!  She reads it everyday without a problem.  She visits the church website everyday and reads countless articles.  She lives for learning more about the gospel!  What an example!  She went to Switzerland a couple of weeks ago.  She looked up the church address and went to the address Sunday morning sadly discovering that the church had moved (bummer).  But she didn’t give up there!   She was visiting her grandchildren and got talking to their babysitter.  She asked the baby sitter if she had heard of the Mormons and if they had a church close by.  The baby sitter got a huge smile on her face and said that she was a member. They talked for a long time about the Book of Mormon.  Such a small world!!!   The Lord is really preparing her and many others here in St Brieuc to join his bergerie (fold).   She wants to be baptized but not until she knows without a doubt that the Book of Mormon is true.  She will know soon if she keeps at it like she is.  She’s an angel!!   Life is the best.

Funny story.  So this week we had a lady stop us in the street and demanded that we passed by her house later so we could talk about the gospel with her.  We were a little shocked to say the least.  That never happens.  So of course we went to her house the next day to see if she was really interested.   So we showed up and started talking. Turns out she was just a little drunk.  It was hard to tell at the door but it became very clear as the lesson went on. So we shared a little pensez spirituelle (spiritual thought) and tried to get out as quick as possible.  So as we stood up to get out she demanded that we sit back down.  I slowly obeyed her order.  She didn’t like that. She started going off about how she is known throughout the world and we need to bow down to her.  She went off about how she has a castle in every country and that her brother is a lawyer.  And i just said,  "cool, can we go please."  She said "no" and went off again because she said she always gets the last word.  Oh so i forgot to mention... that during the end of the lesson I asked her why she drank beer and what it does for good in her life.  That was a mistake haha,  that’s what really made her deveir fâche (become mad).   There were hundreds of beer bottles everywhere but she promised us that never drinks.  And Elder Davis made her even madder by saying "well if you never drink... what is that you are drinking right now?"   hahaha another mistake. She was drinking beer but wouldn’t admit it.  Moral of the story... don’t drink people.   This was a funny little experience but it really is sad what drinking does to people and their life.   Nothing good comes from alcohol.   I was thinking this week why people drink it.  If people really loved their family they would leave that stuff alone!   If we want to live with our families for as long as possible here on earth and in the eternities... we need to leave that stuff alone!

CHURCH IS TRUE.  We literally just had a huge miracle happen during this email haha.  Yesterday Brother Banks was on his way to church (coolest member in the world who lives thirty minutes away) and there was a guy with his thumb up on the side of the road and something told him to pull over and give the guy a ride.  So that’s what he did.  And so he invited the guy to visit the church and whatnot.  So he just did!!!   We literally just gave him a tour of the church and he wants to meet with us again tomorrow!!!   Oh lalala.    Life is way too good.   Miracles happen every minute of every day if we will just open our eyes, trust in the Lord, and love everyone!   Miracles can even happen during PDAY emails.   Who would a thunk it?   La vie est belle!   Stay awesome!   Life Rocks!   Love yall!   Smile always.   Life really is the best.

Love,
Elder Adams
